September through October we offer experiential outdoor adventure programs. Each activity requires 1/2 day to complete for 10-15 people who are nine years old or older. Larger groups are subdivided and rotate through activities during their stay at camp. We provide trained facilitators and all necessary equipment for each activity.
Activities are led by staff who are chosen for their outdoor leadership experience and are required to have Standard First Aid and CPR certifications. Our activities are designed to be physically safe but do contain emotional and physical challenges.
Our Adventure Programs place participants in settings and situations that foster character development and the acquisition of practical living skills, and expand personal confidence. Youth particularly face a variety of challenges in the areas of peer pressure, the need for constant stimulation, changing family environments, alcohol and drugs, and the need to develop a personal sense of values.

Climbing activities are some of the most effective means of fostering teamwork, trust, communication, and cooperation among a group of participants. A climbing experience offers opportunities to develop skills needed to face new and challenging situations that arise in school, at work and in life. Goal setting, supporting people as they try new activities, learning more about how to deal with life's challenges and difficulties, and going beyond perceived limits are only a few of the topics that arise. Camp Broadstone has three different climbing facilities to offer your group.
Climbing Wall The climbing wall has four distinct faces, including an overhang and a roof. The wall is 40 feet high and provides numerous climbing routes for beginners and experienced climbers. The climbing wall is the perfect place to learn the art of moving your body and the skill of problem solving as you work out your next move. |
High Ropes Course The ropes course combines the art and skill of climbing with the challenge of attempting a variety of activities 20 to 45 feet above the ground. The Cat Walk, the Heebie Jeebie and the Burma Bridge are a few of the events available for your participants. |

Alpine Tower The Alpine tower is a 50 foot structure that offers participants the same variety & intensity of challenge as our traditional high ropes course along with the increased opportunity for teamwork due to the ability to have several participants on the tower simultaneously. The many climbing routes & events allow each participant to design just the right amount of challenge for your time on the tower. |
Group Interaction Course On the group interaction course you are asked to try to solve a series of fun and unique problems that require the use of effective communication skills, creativity in decision making, respect for all participants, and the development of trust. The course will help your group develop cooperation among its members and gives you many opportunities to increase and improve your ability to become an effective member of a team. |

OUR STAFF WILL GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE ADVENTURE EXPERIENCE, HELP YOU REFLECT ON THE THE LESSONS LEARNED AND EXPLORE OPPORTUNITIES TO APPLY THESE LESSONS TO YOUR DAILY LIFE.
